My recent project looks at combining a mixed hierarchical community through interaction in public spaces, and aims to encourage the design community by opening up public spaces to hold meetings and events, within my chosen site: Margate.

Constant Nieuwenhuys’ New Babylon project has had a substantial influence on my current studio work. New Babylon looks at the idea of a nomadic lifestyle within an anti-capitalist city, and the structure of the horizontal architecture equals a horizontal society.

The Lloyd hotel & Cultural Embassy in Amsterdam is another project that has been prominent

throughout the research stages of my current studio work. The hotel consists of a range of 1*-5* rooms under one roof with public spaces for everyone to use.
